Connect with FanimeCon
FanimeCon is brought together by a group of hard working fans. These fans come together every year to create a new convention to share with others with similar tastes. From the staffers and volunteers to the attendees, the passion for anime and Japanese culture brings them closer. Looking to meet other fans like yourself? Would you like a chance to give back to FanimeCon and help it grow? On this page you can find ways to connect to those who help create FanimeCon and others who share in similar passions.
Please check out our About page for more information about FanimeCon’s history, becoming staff, volunteering, and contacting FanimeCon departments.
Anime Clubs
From humble beginnings in 1994, FanimeCon was first created by several anime clubs that came together to share their passion for anime. Some of the original clubs still remain, and many others have joined Fanime since. There are many great clubs to discover. All of their information and meeting dates can be found on this list.
FanimeCon DeviantArt
Do you admire the artwork you see around the convention? FanimeCon has an official DeviantArt account which features several artists who come together to create the face of the convention. Browse the artists’ work and discuss the current artwork of the convention here.
FanimeCon Forums
Want to talk about FanimeCon with other attendees, but not sure where to go? FanimeCon has its own forum where people from all walks of life can come together to discuss the convention or just about anything else. The forum has plenty of room to talk about anime, Jrock, important issues, word games, and even a place for utter nonsense. FanimeCon forums are up and running all year long, so whenever you want to pop in, leave a suggestion, or just type whatever nonsense you see fit, make sure to stop by and leave a post here.
FanimeCon Twitter
FanimeCon has its own official Twitter which will be used to send updates before and throughout the convention. It’s the best way to keep up with convention changes and updates! Volunteer
Volunteering is as easy as showing up to FanimeCon, getting your badge, and letting us know you want to volunteer. No need to attend meetings or learn anything in advance. Choose from many departments to volunteer from and build your own schedule. The department you volunteer for will train you on the spot and tell you what you need to know.
